Austin Locksmiths has been providing a fully equipped mobile locksmith service to customers in East Sussex since 2009. The full area covered extends from Worthing to the west to Crowborough to the north and Hastings to the east. We limit the area we cover in this way as it allows us to respond rapidly to customer calls.

We are members of the ICL (Institute of Certified Locksmiths) and the UKLA (United Kingdom Locksmith Association).

James is cleared by the DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service – formerly the Criminal Records Bureau) and hold certificates that are voluntarily renewed every three years. This clearance offers peace of mind to our customers, especially when it is necessary that work be carried out in locations where there are vulnerable individuals, eg schools and care homes etc. Certificates will be carried and produced on-site or copies may be provided ahead of a site visit by email where required.

Professional Public Liability insurance of £5m is always maintained.

Whilst we are busy, we are not so large that we have to charge VAT,  meaning that our prices are immediately 20% lower as a result. There is also no callout charge, meaning that if we are not able to resolve your lock problem (rare) there will be no charge at all, i.e. No fix, no fee.
